some have wax coating but pretty sure they still dissolve

@Paulo @rdaily they dissolve after hours. maybe you guys are using bad paper straws. they're very thick and cardboard-like, they might also have nonstick coating (which is toxic/carcinogenic) to prevent water from seeping in

it's bad if it dissolves in your mouth but it's good if it dissolves later
