What do you guys think about @jack #JackDorsey and his @bluesky #projectbluesky #bluesky?
What do you think about it potentially joining the #Fediverse? Is that something you'd like, or no?

I'd like that. The more inertia the mainstream Fediverse has, the less power the extremists wield. I consider Twitter likely to take a moderate stance, blocking the really abusive instances but leaving ones like ours alone. Since it increases the audience for instances with which it federates, it would reward maintaining basic standards of decency but not provide an incentive to be overly uptight. Its huge userbase would be a big payoff for meeting a sane behavioural baseline.
@realcaseyrollins I think Jack is getting nervous, he has thrown hundreds of thousands of users off twitter through his heavy handed censorship policy. Twitter is now a PC leftwing echo chamber. He knows this.
His decenralised Bluesky idea, he knows which way the wind is blowing. He is just making a clone copy of the #fediverse with different software code, but ultimately he will still control Bluesky.
