Has #QOTO done this? The limit in my #Twidere app still seems to be 500 chars.
@realcaseyrollins @freemo Fedilab Lite has same crimped limit, see screenshot.

Its more than a config file but it is just a one line change. I will do it when i do our v3 upgrade I'm just terribly busy right now. I'll put aside a few hours this weekend and see how far the upgrade gets

@realcaseyrollins No, @freemo hasn't got around to it yet -- he knows, and will do it. But I am not sure how much of a pain is involved.
A config file edit and service reload would be easy. Likely not the case, since he hasn't done it yet.
Might involved some more elaborate edits and he's saving for when a patch to serve is being applied.
Been waiting for over a month, and really like Pinafore -- want it for main client. But 500 chars crimps my style severely.
