So I like the instance I'm on - qoto.org. I like the moderation rules, some tweaks they've made, and it just seems really well run and nice.
However, I'm an Aussie. And a lot of Aussies are joining aus.social.
Is there a way of following the local timeline of aus.social, from within qoto.org? I tried something called "Domain Subscription" but that doesn't seem to have done anything? #help
@reallyedbrown Any subscriptions work for future toots, not past toots. Wait a bit until they've posted some?
@trinsec Aha! Thank you! I was just about to post an update saying that "There is now one toot in the subscription list, so maybe I just have to wait!" 😆

Hmm, curious. The list for aus.social still only has the one toot, even though it's a busy instance and there have been many toots since I subscribed to the domain.
*BUT* I just saw there's a "Favourite domains" feature, which puts a link on my sidebar and that loads all the aus.social toots instantly. So... going with that!
