@rebeccatickell there is #debirdify, a website which uses the #twitter API to look through profile information (display name, bio, website, pinned tweet) for things that look like #fediverse / #mastodon account names.
@rebeccatickell I can't find it right now, but there's a service designed for just that. It checks for the usernames of your twitter followers and checks if they are here.
It only works if they used the same name.
