I've decided to follow anyone who looks interesting even if they don't match my interests. After a month or two I can trim that list. It is easy to do on qoto.org since the follow button can be displayed under the icon.

Just did my first unfollow under this policy. 😞
Boosting all the posts in a thread is not acceptable to me. There were 10-12 messages from that thread. I'd say boosting only the first post is acceptable. If I want to see the rest I'll read on.
