@vitaminsludge Musk just makes it up as he goes along. He hasn't thought that far ahead, and probably doesn't have the mental capability to do so.

I wonder how much of this might be due to his Asperger's syndrome. Some of this behavior may be due to his inability to understand the underlying social contract of society.

Not meant to excuse his behavior. Just trying to understand the obvious self-destruction.

@davidgerard @rrb @vitaminsludge The narcissistic similarities between Musk and Trump are notable. But Musk actually seems to behave in a significantly more impulsive and juvenile manner.

@lauren @davidgerard @vitaminsludge@mastodon.ie

I would say: impulsive is a draw between the two. There is no impulse control.

Trump seems more juvenile to me because of his single digit IQ.

Musk is more dangerous, because he does have raw (math/logic) intelligence.

Both have no empathy and no emotional intelligence.

@rrb @davidgerard @vitaminsludge These are, in a significant way, irrelevant distinctions between the two. Both of the same cloth overall. That's what really matters.

@mathew @vitaminsludge @lauren @davidgerard @rrb What Musk is doing at Twitter could have happened with Trump in the WH if we hadn’t had the entire US Government in place as a guardrail. It wasn’t 100% effective, but can you imagine the harm that could have been unleashed if Trump, like Musk now, had no one to stop him? The similarities between the two are chilling.
