Have actually been looking into this. Bit torrent's share of content pirating has fallen so low that RIAA/MPAA funded groups do not include them in their major pirating risks.

Streamripping sites are currently ascendant. Torrent might now be used more for legit sharing of data and that type of thing.

@rrb @nfgusedautoparts That's not surprising really. But the software and ops model is still quite crude and user-unfriendly for most mainstream (legal) purposes.
