I just found out that there are now phones with more RAM than my desktop PC
They have 18GB of RAM. My PC has 16. Why is this a thing, what phone app can possibly require more RAM than most PCs have.
I have a Shift 6mq, with 8GB of RAM and a Snapdragon 845 from 2017 and it's like, it runs Android 13 and every app I ever possibly want to run perfectly?
I guess it doesn't run Yuzu but that sounds painfully uncomfortable to use on a phone anyway
@hazelnot Phones generate more tracking data used to follow your every move. That has to be stored somewhere.
