today I successfully repaired my sewing machine.

it involved going to the store for a couple of screwdrivers, watching first 3 minutes of a couple of yt videos, dismantling the plastic covers, pulling out a stuck piece of thread, mounting the plastic covers back on, and realizing I'm left with 2 spare screws and lots of bruises on my fingers.

a nice achievement after 2 (two) years (yes) of avoiding the problem and sewing by hand instead.
