At some point in the last few weeks, my doctoral thesis was accessed for the 900,000th time.
Open access and open licensing (in this case literally CC0) works.
@dajbelshaw amazing results! But, I am surprised any doctoral thesis has accumulated so many views. Clearly a solid proof case for open access as I am sure most printed versions only accumulate a half dozen views in their lifetime.
@rw Exactly. I wanted to compare with the version in Durham University's e-theses repository, but it doesn't give stats.
