Notion uses shady dark patterns to mislead their users to accept tracking cookies by moving ability of adjusting permissions to a hidden sub-menu.

By default the UI popup has just “Accept all” link visible, but it is followed with a tree dots icon. What’s under there? “Customize cookies” dialog that includes ability to disable unwanted tracking, but only if people figure out that they should press “Done” instead of “Accept all”.

@autiomaa As far as I can tell, cookie management is the most widespread application of dark patterns on the web.

@sakhavi And most of those aren't even cookies. Whole name is misleading, as trackers use a lot more advanced techniques for fingerprinting devices and people...
