I am being made to choose between making it easy to find fellow scicommers or fellow Philadelphians and it’s making me *so* mad. This app is godawful for “hyphenates” or those who are active in multiple communities.
It’s not IMPOSSIBLE to find each other, of course. Just more challenging than I find practical. Ugh.
@SarahMackAttack I think that kind of things is server-dependent. Follows and followers are discovered if they are on the public list, but servers decide what to listen. It's being a tad bit more difficult to setup since apparently hashtags is what makes our posts discoverable. Oh well...
