People talk about publishing social media algorithms as if the source code will say

Humanity observed that the flu virtually disappeared when we were all masking yet we rushed to “get back to normal” and now people are being taken down by colds, flus & RSV.

We aren’t as smart as we think we are and suck at risk evaluation & mitigation.

When you have 6 year olds shooting people, the only answer is gun control. A 6 year old is not a rational actor. Slack trying to hide their security disclosure? LastPass pulled the same thing recently, but even more blatantly.

We need a searchable index of companies who hide their disclosures like this. It would be extremely valuable when doing vendor assessments.
