@darnell in our district, there aren't enough busses, so you have to apply for a seat. If you don't get one, it's your problem to get your kids to school.

I have no clue how TicketMaster remains in control of the ticket industry. I took my son to a local college hockey game. I decided to buy tickets at the door because TicketMaster charged more in fees than the cost of the actual tickets.

However, it took forever to get tickets at the box office because a bunch of people who bought tickets thru TicketMaster couldn't access them and had to go to the box office to get them printed out.

They are installing Google fiber in my neighborhood. So far, the crew have cut the cable to bring the current internet service into many homes while they install their cables underground.

And they're setting up on my block this morning.

Could be a much less productive day than I anticipated...

Amazing how these guys always see themselves as a noble warrior, fighting against an unjust world.
