I'm a #volcanologist from the Philippines working mostly with #Taal and #Mayon volcanoes. I work mostly on #electromagnetics applications and methods, but also used to work with #seismic methods (#tomography). Nowadays though #DRRM (disaster risk reduction and management) occupies most of my time. I also do seismic hazards from time to time but volcanic eruptions are more exciting and spectacular.

A bit more about me by way of #introduction. I'm an Earth Scientist who specialises in #volcanology, #scicomm, #pedagogy and #EDI.

I'm a field #volcanologist by training, and my #research focuses on catastrophic flows like pyroclastic density currents and lahars. I'm interested in quantifying the link between process (current) and product (deposit) to ultimately improve our field interpretations of the volcanic rock record.
