Offspring no. 1 and her partner finally moved out to a flat of their own, a year after moving in with us temporarily.
no. 2 moved out years ago.
no. 3 left today to start postgrad medical school
no. 4 has gone back for 2nd year at uni.

We now have, for the first time, an empty nest. I love all my kids dearly, but it's so nice to have the place to ourselves.
