That my interest or attention is unwanted. Which happened a few times when I was a lot younger.
Now I struggle to express genuine interest in pretty much anything when people are around.
@serra do you mean this in general terms, or specifically with respect to romantic interest?
Both.
It's worst when it's about romance since it's more personal.
But I have the same fears when it's about my hobbies or any topic at all.
The more the thing feels like a part of me the worse it gets.
@serra yeah, that's a really scary feeling. Thank you for sharing. I hope that you're still able to share the things you love with others, and that you've found people who get excited to hear about them. Certainly I'm one of them :)
