LinkedIn still has some value (good way to connect with peers of your domain) but mostly, it is just cringe and useless contents.
@shibaprasad @mastodonindians the connect with domain is what keeping me back. I wish we had something FOSS for LinkedIn like we have Mastodon for Twitter.

@shibaprasad @mastodonindians And not to forget the dark practices by LinkedIn itself.
1. Get an email saying "I have an invite", open it and then it is a post asking me to install their app.
2. Want to edit the account? Nope you can only use the app. Ask your mobile browser to use Desktop Mode, LinkedIn works 🤦♂️
3. LinkedIn works better in app - Yea meh, my friends have told me how it is the Reddit equivalent.

@shibaprasad @mastodonindians My dream moment in LinkedIn: Get a nice job, take a chart paper and write - "LinkedIn Sucks! ❤️ if you agree!" and then post it as my first and last post on LinkedIn. (Yes will delete my account after it)
God, the amount of cat fishing + cringe + outdated memes + WhatsApp level content spins my head...
As of date, I have had a LinkedIn account after being forced (it helps you get a job yada yada) and I open it only to accept Connect requests
