@Aman9das Not hard requirement in any way. But Intro to Statistical Learning starts with saying Elements of SL is a hard book, many may not find it very easy and intuitive. So here we are with a more basic book. :P

@shibaprasad not really, is that a hard requirement? All I did have were 2 semesters on statistics in first year.
