I’m looking to fill some free time helping out organisations working for #conservation and #biodiversity.

I have a weird hodgepodge of programming/program management/marketing expertise, and am currently studying towards a MSc in biodiversity and wildlife health. Teeny tiny bit of past conservation NGO experience. Based outside Amsterdam, Netherlands.

Happy to volunteer, in field, or behind a desk, whatever you need.

Based on internal feedback, I think our new t-shirts will be a huge success. We expect to launch them along with mugs, enamel pins and stickers mid-July. The designs are awesome, but I don’t want to spoil the surprise yet. It’ll be a fun way for the non-profit to fundraise more money 😊

I just realized that there is so much noise about #Meta and very little about creating template legal policies that instances can adopt that prohibit commercial use of user data.

Whatever you think of defederation there are easy ways to do that. Legal policies on the other hand are complex and require expertise and often money.

Maybe #LawFedi can help crowdsource templates of strict noncommercial legal policies for the #Fediverse so instance admins do not have to figure it out themselves?

Anyone know of a good guide for transitioning from #Reddit to #lemmy or #kbin ?

I enjoy that type of interaction, and those look like the best replacements for the Reddit take on that. Not direct clones, I'm not expecting that, but it seems like the best available replacement

The rogue 2FA app that steals scanned secrets is now ranked 18 on the German App Store for the productivity category. No wonder! The app disguises as a Microsoft app. It is the top hit when you search for "Microsoft Authenticator" and the developer has updated the screenshots in the ad card to highlight the word "Microsoft". Surprisingly, the product page of the app shows different screenshots with the word "Microsoft" removed.
The app now has 1.2K reviews, as opposed to 18 when we first addressed the app.
