Quick question to those who follow me on here: What do you hope I post?
The reason I ask is that on G+, I maintained about a dozen channels (topics), whereas on Twitter, it was mostly politics with some other topics every so often.
I kinda feel like taking a break from politics -- it's just exhausting -- but am curious what people are expecting here on Earth 2.

@cra1g I'd be quite happy to see posts about sociology topics that are not political. What is up to you. The whole field is fascinating.
It's hard to stay away from politics, though. Since way back in the last century I've defined politics as "applied sociology with a dash of salesmanship." That said, a break from politics would be welcome.
@shuttersparks @cra1g People are a bundle, so I favor the multiple topics that people bring. I think hashtags here may serve the same purpose as Circles could on G+. Hashtags allow people to enter conversations of interest (by following) or block them (by filtering).
But we know more now about importance of setting boundaries. I've already got one alt account just for SARS2 stuff. I'm considering more for politics (fascism, neoliberalism) and climate.
