I haven’t grown 26K fans in a day since the early days of social media! Welcome to all who are now here with me. Let’s make new adventures together.
@georgetakei I was your FIFTH follower from @Twitter yesterday! In just a few hours you went to warp speed and will go where no man has gone before.
@HighTechWriter @georgetakei You beat me. I was number 14. Lol
@shuttersparks @georgetakei the first hundred should get autographed tickets to George’s show. When I saw four, I knew I must hop on @mastodon to secure my place in history. But four were ahead of me. Wish I took a screenshot of them.
@HighTechWriter @georgetakei Yeah, I saw his post and immediately boosted and replied. Unlike like twitter, viral behavior on Mastodon has to happen organically. There's no algorithm trying to stir up a tempest in a teapot. It was gratifying to see the Mastodon approach in action. I was number 14. Three hours later he had 11,000 followers. No algorithm, just people boosting.
