I'm really loving the lack of algorithms on here. FB and *!itter really drive me nuts trying to choose for me what I want to see. I'll decide that myself thankyou. I never really got in to %*!tter anyway, hadn't logged in for literally years, and promptly deactivated it once the psychotic dictator was reinstated. Absolute disgrace of a decision. Let's hope Mastodon takes off!

@GarethDavies Yes. The most annoying part of Twitter's algorithm for me was posts from the handful of people I followed most intensely showing up in my feed 24 hours after they were posted.
I rarely participated in polls because I couldn't. Polls would appear in my feed after they were done and closed.
It's a badly broken algorithm.
