Hey quick question about verifying websites on here. Does it happen instantly or is there a delay between when I put the code on and the verification to happen? I put the code on one of my other websites and yet it is not showing up as verified.
@rebeccawangart I did mine recently and it was pretty much instant. Are you putting the verification in the body of your code or the head :0
@Lurizon @rebeccawangart where should it be? I put mine on my Wordpress blog and it hasn’t worked.
@madamscientist @Lurizon I heard from a friend that there is a plugin now that can do this for you or Wordpress blogs: called Simple Mastodon Verification
@rebeccawangart @madamscientist @Lurizon How do I know if it "worked"? In my profile I have a link to my main blog, https://shuttersparks.net . In that blog I put a "find me on Mastodon" link back to my profile in the footer of the blog. But I see no indicator on Mastodon that any verification took place.
@rebeccawangart @madamscientist @Lurizon Aha! Nevermind my question. I figured it out
