Made the decision to take a break from Twitter after the Georgia runoff.
I can't keep supporting a site run by an active white nationalist. I understand the "stay and fight" feeling, but at the end of the day he still gets to sell advertising next to my Tweets.
So this will be one of the primary places to hear from me while I am on break from there.
@what46hasdone Yeah, you can't fight a sole proprietor who's willing to spend money. All you can do is vote with your feet.
Welcome to Mastodon! Just be aware there's no content management and no algorithm. The tools are here to control what you see and what you don't see, but you have to do it yourself. On other platforms it's "block and report" and hope someone does something. Here it's just block and note the instance. If you have multiple troublemakers from the same instance, block the whole instance.
