Welp, I'm also on Post now. Hearing there are just 100,000 folks in and a half million on the waiting list. It's really barebones and seems actual new posts are few presently. But shares of older posts are common. After 1/2 hour of looking, only found about 6 I regularly "saw" on Twitter. Wait and see is the mode I'm in. Oh yes, same nick here and there.
@cobalt I'm still not crazy about the idea of another walled garden run by corporate algorithms. It's still funded by vulture capitalists ~ ads and various ways of extracting money from the users haven't kicked in yet (afaik)
@olavf I'm not crazy about it either, but I do like to have some idea what is going on here and there. BTW, Twitter tonight is tweeting every fourth tweet as a paid ad. For trivial junk, nothing of quality or even well-known brands. It's a lot more fun hanging out here in Mastodon ATM.
