So, let’s say this poll that Elon is running about stepping down from Twitter carries through and he abides from a result saying he should step down. He still owns the company, is whoever replaces him going to do anything different than Elon’s bidding? And who would Elon pick? Maybe someone who’s account he unblocked?

If Elon steps down or even if he sells the company. The damage is done and too deep to ever trust the company again. It’s not any one thing, but the chaos of it all.
And then, I realize that Elon’s actions have only made it clear to me that I should have left Twitter years ago. I even made this Mastodon account in 2016, because Twitter did something that bothered me. And years before that it was an App.net account.
