@cnalletamby Hmm. I'm accustomed to making a post and seeing it show up in my timeline right away. I'm also accustomed to looking at my Home timeline and seeing posts with timestamps of 1m, 2m, and so on.
For some reason, I just saw your first post a few minutes ago and it's timestamped 6 hours ago so there was a delay somewhere in the process. Lol. Anyway, I boosted it as soon as I saw it.
@cnalletamby There are three timelines to mastodon. As far as I know you can only display them in chronological order.
@shuttersparks Might have misread what I briefly saw in the beginning, sounded strange, some "alphabetic" display!
Probably misunderstood!
@cnalletamby Did you catch my second reply about boosted posts?
@shuttersparks I think so!
It does seem we see the repost timed, not the original posting one.
Just have to get used to it, I guess. ;)
@cnalletamby Once you know how it works it's not a problem and I rather like it.
@cnalletamby I was thinking about this some more. Is it possible you are looking at the timestamps on boosts?
Boosted posts show the timestamp of the original post. So if right now I boost someone's post that was made 6 hours ago, my followers will all see it appear now but the timestamp will show 6 hours ago.
@shuttersparks Possible, not sure yet!
@shuttersparks I have a question, posts on my wall seem random, or alphabetic, and I prefer to have them based on timestamp, newer on top.
Any way to get that?
