I love the mystery and secret agent feel of this, and even moreso that it's a chapter title for design specifications for an obscure hardware interface that probably hasn't been used by anyone since the early 1990s.

@shuttersparks Hey I still have cables for that. I may even still have a Centronics interface card.
This was HPIL, a token ring serial communications protocol for interfacing calculators. (As distinct from the much more common HPHIL, which was a different serial interface for mice/keyboards, and that's distinct from the even MORE common HPIB, which is still in common usage as GPIB.)
