🦤 Musk has run his Twitter poll, with the "result" being Yes that he should step down as head of Twitter.
🦣 The significant spikes in Mastodon registrations have been attributed to his actions running Twitter. He'll still be the owner of Twitter, so doubt much will change.

What is Musk saying now?
Is this a backtrack on stepping down?

@terry Why would he run the "software and server teams"? He knows nothing about the subject. We learned that from the Twitter engineers that quit or got fired.
@shuttersparks I'm guessing it was some sort of joke by Musk, maybe. Either way, it'll be another good reason for people to migrate to Mastodon.
