This is why the Twitter app is coming off my phone. This particular push notification doesn't seem offensive like some others, but *I do not follow this account* and likely never would. They're getting so desperate they're actively spamming me now.
It's probably because I don't interact there. FB has been pulling similar horseshit too lately, primarily recommending I follow complete randos
@olavf The funny thing is I don't miss it at all. That surprised me.
@shuttersparks it really is the space stuff, sadly. Literally everyone including NASA puts everything on Twitter, so someone has to offload the meaningful posts
@shuttersparks it was handy for notifications from the local NWS as well as 'space twitter' but ultiimately the value has become negligible as I get some of that here, and I do have the twitter desktop client to poke at maybe once or twice a day
