In doing so, he confirms the whereabouts of him and his brother, leading to their arrest for kidnapping two girls.

The Romanian Church doesn't control the Romanian criminal justice system.
@PadreSJ No, but in countries like that in which I've lived, a phone call from an influential person is all it takes to shut it down. It works like that here in West Virginia.

But that's not going to make the organized crime and kidnapping charges go away.
