Making #marmalade is a real labour of love. Especially with #kumquats which are really fiddly and full of pips. So many slow stages: washing, chopping, separating out the ziste and the pips for the pectin bag, marinating, pre-cooking, and final cooking and putting in pots. But I find it all kind of meditative, so when I saw these little babies in the market (#organic, of course!), I just couldn't resist. And when it's done I can have #sunshine every morning for #breakfast 🌞
