Let’s try a little sharing game on my stream. #TipOfDay
As long as I know folks may be interested, I’ll do a one-a-day theme post. Creates a collection searchable by hashtag. Any topic but to be part of it, repeat the hashtag of my daily post. Show me if you are interested by a comment, reply with a new top, fave or boost. Each day you can do a hashtag search if you wish to find one. Next post starts it.
@cobalt Hah. Yeah, 12 hours non-stop, no breaks, as a chef in a busy restaurant. It's on your feet physical like playing basketball for 12 hours straight. Keeps me young. I also fast for that 2 day stretch which has been shown to be healthful. People guess my age as 40s. I'm 70. Lol. As far as how, I don't know. You just do it. You have to want to.
@shuttersparks Oh my, I can't even imagine working in a restaurant, and I've done that 5 times in my youth. Extremely hard on your feet and legs. I'm 71 and this is the year I am highly aware I have to be more careful on lifting and moving things. I'm impressed you can do this! Imagine it can be fun at times.
@shuttersparks eek! I work usually 1-2 “12 hour shifts” as caregiver for my son when we are short a full time caregiver, like now. Our 40 hours a week person was fired a week ago by his agency. Actually because we let the agency know he called off 12 days in 9 weeks and was late 3-4 times a week. It IS work and a bit too physically demanding. How do you handle long shifts?
