@wdlindsy Yup. just as I said when Trump became a candidate in 2016. I knew that some news media people would be thrilled because they knew Trump would introduce endless chaos -- a scandal every day -- perfect for "selling newspapers".
My grandmother pointed out this mechanism to me in the early 1960s.
@shuttersparks You had a wise grandmother. Yes, the media own much responsibility for placing the nation in the mess it finds itself in now. Their treatment of Trump and Hillary Clinton in the 2016 elections was very much responsible for getting him into the White House.
