@olav @morgfair Had an account on Twitter since the days we used it via SMS from flip-phones -- what it was originally designed for. Hah. Sometimes I was very active, sometimes didn't touch it for 18 months or more. Never was it deleted.
I downloaded and locked my account in November then didn't touch it for six months. Went back and deleted it. It was still there.
I'm not surprised, the Elongated Muskrat needs that number even if it's not a MAU
I got my first "smartphone" ca. 2001/2002 but didn't SM until I joined Fark which was several years later when I was laid up and couldn't drive

I'm not sure I have an account. Last I heard they're deleted after 30 days and it's been like 5-6 months
