One night in LA we went out to Lowry's Prime Rib - and at the next table was a person from Apollo. He leaned over and mentioned that he had seen the updates I had made to the Ned Irons editor that I had done while I was at SDC and Interactive.
I vaguely remember Apollo having Ethernet, but it's more of a feeling than a memory.
Our first use of Ethernet at Interactive with IS/1 was via the Ungermann/Bass terminal milking machines in, I think April 1980. (I should know the date better - I kinda got married as a result.)
@karlauerbach I remember Lawry's up on restaurant row, La Cienega. Good food. My favorite up there was the Lobster Barrel. Great food and lots of fun.
@karlauerbach Good grief. Haha. The disturbing thing is that such people walk among us every day.
@karlauerbach Oops. Yeah. Not surprised. Such behavior isn't normal. Anyone who would do such a thing probably has lots of other problems that will eventually surface. I hope his date took the hint.
@shuttersparks The guy wielding the fire ax had a new TV series that got cancelled as a result.
