“We have decided to suspend our activity on Twitter/X.” - Flipboard https://flipboard.medium.com/flipboard-steps-back-from-tweeting-b0f4af1f4ffc
FWIW, I decided earlier today to halt cross-posting from Mastodon to Twitter/X and for an indefinite period wll no longer be active on that platform.
@w7voa - I quit the day Musk took over. Ever since then Twitter/X has been a shitshow drama, no point in suffering through that while continuing to work for free for them.
@johncarlosbaez @w7voa Thanks for the reminder. I stuck around for another month before bailing out. So it's been a year now.
@johncarlosbaez Oh, much. After a month of Elmo and stuff from Right-wing politicians showing up in my feed un-asked for, I'd had enough.
Mastodon is much more to my liking.
@shuttersparks - congrats! I bet you're happier than you would have been, sticking around.
