Personal blathering here, but I must say, drywall crew working on my house is wicked fast. I suspect these folks are being paid by job, and not by hour. Started Tuesday, and they already have the paint for the next stage, and I expect they will be done with mudding today (sanding today/tomorrow maybe if the mud from yesterday is dry already?). Also might be the same crew for painting, so I expect they'll be texturing tomorrow or Monday at this rate. At least, the heat envelope of my house has been restored (and they did upgrade the accessible insulation per my request, to R13, which is what fits in our wall cavities).#disasterremodeling

@ai6yr Speaking of wicked fast, there's a roofing company in town here that employs 13 men from Guatemala. Talk about wicked fast. They can strip to the rafters and re-roof a house in one day. When they get to the nailing stage it sounds like a full-blown war going on. Haha.
