@markmccaughrean One thing I miss about living in Southern California / Nevada is seeing coruscating Sirius.

Here in West Virginia, the sky is never, never, even close to that clear. On the rare occasions that it's not cloudy or overcast and you can see stars, they are dim and barely visible.
