The quote “Lack of preparation on your part does not constitute an emergency on mine” does not apply to #ERCOT because everyone in #texas must pay - sometimes very highly and not only with money, sadly - for the constant lack of preparation in this state for any weather…regardless of the season. #txwx
@absolutspacegrl Everyone must pay except the owners of the utility companies, who are raking in the rich fruits of their malfeasance.
@shuttersparks @absolutspacegrl This is why I encourage people to install solar panels. For those who can afford to do so, it's a good way to take money away from utilities even if they don't pay a feed-in tariff.
@lyda @absolutspacegrl Agreed. Although some utility companies are lobbying (bribing) their legislators to levy taxes on solar panels.
