I'm not going to point to it, but in a standard-issue demonstration of absurd analysis, the ever-incompetent New York Times political team today called Ted Cruz and "orthodox conservative" --
The Times will NEVER stop normalizing extremism. Never.

@dangillmor Unbelievable. Although "conservative" has taken on a new meaning in the past 40 years.
There are no traditional conservatives in all of Congress. The GOP adopted the word and harp on it constantly because they know people like it.
