Secondly, Twitter as a platform is gone. The only action that can be taken by you is to reduce Elmo's ability to make money or generate income from the platform. You do that by leaving. The smaller his user base the less money advertisers will pay him. The only thing of value that Twitter has is its user base. Take it away.

@lauren Agreed. It should be in a config file somewhere. Long ago I adopted the practice of pulling *everything* physically possible out into config files. This practice has resulted in nothing but joy and smiles for me.

@robinbrenizer Well, not at all like AOC. The relentless attack on Hillary began in the early 1990s. They saw the danger she posed. Republicans are terrified of Hillary. She spent 8 years in the Whitehouse, served as Secretary of State, and served in Congress, so she knows where all the skeletons are hanging. She's a prosecutor and a sharp negotiator. The Republicans know she's an absolute nightmare for them and will do literally anything to prevent her from becoming president.

All of the above is exactly why I want her to be president.

@TonyStark Warren Buffett agrees. He think's today's tax structure is ridiculous in that his tax bracket is lower than his secretary's.

How can this be? Today's tax code allows the wealthy access to all kinds of legal techniques to minimize their tax. None of these techniques are available if you earn an ordinary income. It's insane but over the years Congress enacted what the rich folks wanted and here we are.

@lauren Yes, perhaps too opaque. I was trying to be brief and at the same time wonder whether things have changed all that much since then. The recent half-dozen years of politics and my experience over the past 20 years implies things have not changed.

Racism has changed from overt and in your face in Poitier's time to unspoken but just as strong and functional today.
