Inside the Controversial Sales Practices of the Nation’s Biggest Title Lender

Former TitleMax store managers told ProPublica and The Current about how they were trained to keep customers unaware of the true costs of their title pawns. When they were more transparent, they faced repercussions. https://www.propublica.org/article/inside-sales-practices-of-biggest-title-lender-in-us

The cat just went over to the HomePod mini on my desk, meowed at it, and Siri said "sure here is some music for you" and the cat perched on the window sill listening to Garbage and Elliott Smith.

- There was freedom there. And they went into the cabin, and ate all the tubes of space food, and drank the water that had been in space. The children even tore off the charred skin of the ship.

I just love all of you. Our journey is really difficult and I find joy when I read nice stories about everyone’s unique journey on Fedi.
It relaxes me and make me fall asleep with a smile.

This. This is exactly it. There is a tipping point where something that is annoying and a little disruptive becomes dangerous and most patients have no way of knowing when that will occur. 👇

@RepAdamSchiff TODAY
"We've introduced a constitutional amendment to overturn Citizens United and the irresponsible SCOTUS decisions that came before it.
Unrestricted dark money has no place in our elections or democracy. We need to return power to people. Once and for all."

!! Good. About time.
Now let's see them get it done.

"We investigated everyone but the justices and couldn't find the source of the leak" is a remarkable SCOTUS self-own, bordering on outright admission.

I’M DOING MY BEST FRANK! 😭

SHOCKING: Ron #DeSantis has BANNED the teaching of AP African American Studies in Florida.

Florida has gone from Don’t Say Gay to Don’t Say Black.

Sen. Kevin Blackwell, R-Southaven, wants to revive a bill to extend postpartum Medicaid benefits. He has the support of the Senate, but would need the assent of Speaker Philip Gunn, R-Clinton.

I'm going to attempt a thread on Ellis because this is important to trump's stolen docs case. He was a staffer for Nunes. He went to work at the WH for the NSC. trump tried to get him installed as a lawyer at NSA on his way out the door. He was compiling a binder full of bs on "Russiagate" and probably a lot more classified intel. Here we go:

Thanks to my good bud @Witchy_Minx, I was permitted to take these pics and share. This is a thriving #honeyplant and has been transplanted multiple times.

It has sentimental and loving significance in @Witchy_Minx’s life. It was her late fathers.

It only flowers for a short time but is worth every bit of love and care it receives year in, year out.

A beautiful and poignant symbol of remembrance to a very special man.

Thank you.

🙏💖
