I called a company whose website was blocking Tor, & (playing dumb) said "I'm getting 'Access Denied'". Guy was baffled. He said try a different browser and keep trying & to call him back if it's still a problem after a couple days. I call him back 3 days later & say it's still a problem. He was completely stumped. He said "We have 1400 users & no one has this problem".
@koherecoWatchdog PS I guess the "not being lazy af" option is just to use Tor for everything except those sites so guess I'll start doing that.
still, some option like this might be nice, don't know the technology well enough to opine
@skells People have lost sight of the idea that suppliers must be subserviant to consumers, not the other way around. As a consequence, consumers are /losing/ ground and it has started to become more of a culture where consumers are subservient to suppliers.
@skells If I am a customer already and the other party has my money or stocks, hosts my domain name, or has something of mine, then they decide to start blocking Tor, I might be trapped in a contract. In that case, I will interact over the phone or postal mail until the contract ends, but I will not dance for them and leave Tor because that would make me an enabler and a pushover.
