@apropos @11112011 @Terry
From where I'm standing the cracks are already starting to show, hard push for the vaccinations has led to other solutions being suppressed.
If it turns out that we're out of the woods and there are no long term consequences for the vaccines then maybe they're home free
Somehow I don't think this is the end of it; with vaccines seemingly selecting for more virulent forms of the disease and booster shots on the way there's a lot of potential for this to get ugly.
Hopefully the worst is over and well be back to normal in a few months. This doesn't change the fact that the whole system needs to be changed - these lobbyists need to be torn out root and stem, the stakes are getting too high.
@11112011 @Terry @apropos the missus had a rough time with the 2nd dose, had to sit there and watch that all night, and family friends at dinner know a girl who didn't take the second because of brutal neurological symptoms.
I ain't saying that the short term benefits don't outweigh the short term harm, it's the long view that has me concerned and anyone who tells you they know the long term risk/benefit are either lying or delusional.
Ivermectin has been prescribed 3.7 billion times and it's killed 16.
Pfizer have delivered a few million doses in the last year and it's linked to ~5000 deaths and God knows how many serious adverse events. And this is just short term stuff with a novel technology.
Tell me more about reality mate.
