I don’t think Poland is actually going to push for Article 5 over this, FWIW. But I do think they will retaliate somehow.

@dave everyone in the usa that seriously agitates for it should be put on a list

@skells @Moon A couple of Russian cruise missiles hit a village in Poland, two people died. Polish PM has declared an emergency national security meeting.

@skells @Moon Well the strike is definitely real, the question is whether it was intentional

@skells @Moon I don’t think so. Likely there’s a radar trail leading back to Russia. Possibly IR as well if the right sensors were watching.

@dave @Moon likely there's a radar trail, on what basis is it likely coming from Russia

@dave @skells we'll know in a while because there's probably a thousand private agencies collecting that info independently

@Moon @dave the question is what matters, concurrence of private agencies or what the media is told to put out

@skells @dave the information will be out there. we'll know. people that watch msnbc will not ever know.
@skells @dave i don't trust zerohedge but i also think it's probably really early
@skells @dave I have found it extremely difficult to trust any source right now but based on past experience i actively distrust zerohedge because i think they're probably just one notch above RT
@Moon @dave @skells My main distrust for ZH is that they seem to have a very strong bias for hoping (disastrous) Interesting Things to happen, and my observation is that life is more boring.
@guizzy @dave @skells that and periodically they launder russian talking points almost verbatim. i honestly do not know if it's intentional. i am not a "russia is behind everything" guy but it is a thing i have noticed.

@Moon @dave @guizzy I think ZH are probably Russian influenced, definitely biased in that direction

when everyone and their dog is pro-Ukrainian makes sense to get news from the other side, imo

@skells @dave @guizzy well it's true sometimes you will only get bad news about your own country from your enemy

@Moon @dave @guizzy most of the meaningful stuff filters through from friends and family with a pro-status quo bias

any news site is distracting you from the important things you should be caring about as an individual though

@guizzy @Moon @dave @skells i got into shiny rock and stayed jab-free in part due to ZH though so

@Moon @dave used to like Reuters as the most neutral establishment source but if one can only read "false claims of election fraud" a few times a week

@dave @skells @Moon

>Well the strike is definitely real,
Narrator: The strike was not real.
