Behind the bravado and circus ring master antics, Musk has a fiscal arterial bleed which in turn is causing the likes of Morgan Stanley, Bank of America and Barclays to sweat.
They’re desperate to sell the loans they made, on to credit investors and move it off their balance sheets, but discounts being demanded means them taking about a $1 billion loss on the deal.
Musk sold $3.6 billion more of his Tesla shares this week and is offering more Twitter shares at 🤣 $54.20.
HE NEEDS CASH
@politicsusa46 Why did those 3 banks lend $ for this deal, which my dog could have told you won’t turn a profit? The Qatari investors might be satisfied with weakening American democracy by ruining Twitter, but I doubt that’s what the banks want.
@politicsusa46 Then my 🐶 could have done a better job as risk management “person” than the people they have. M**k’s behavior wasn’t 100% foreseeable, but it was probable enough to make this investment a bad risk.
