Enough already! So tired of these stories about Dem voters wanting a younger candidate. The reality check:
“Any discussion of an alternative is little more than a fantasy, they say, since challenging Mr. Biden would not only appear disloyal but would also most likely fail — and potentially weaken the president’s general-election standing.”

The Washington Post prints much less of this garbage. They’re offering a teaser rate of $40/year for an all-access digital subscription:

@spradlig I subscribe to both. Each has strengths and weaknesses. But hey, the NYT is practically in my blood. Which is why its political coverage can upset me so much.

@NinaBernstein1

I’m about to learn the weaknesses of the Post/strengths of the Times. I subscribed to the Post and dropped my Times subscription.

@NinaBernstein1

Today the Post chose to make its top story a garbage poll about Joe Biden. It’s obsessed with polls and horse-race election coverage, even though the horses are still in the paddock (?). Or in the barn, eating oats.

They also have a strange article about Mark Milley and how “divisive” or “polarizing” he was. The article linked to a previous story from the same author about the USA’s “treacherous” withdrawal from Afghanistan, which was not labeled as opinion or even analysis.

I’m taking advantage of the Post’s teaser rate. The rate goes way up next year. 😕
